Meet Cell5D — Professional NeuroGlia5D Analysis
Cell5D (NeuroGlia5D) is a GPU-accelerated C++ engine built specifically for 5D segmentation, 4D rendering, and microglia analysis in live two-photon imaging. Perfect for zebrafish brain imaging, neuron-glia interactions, and microglial morphology studies.
While originally designed to investigate glial-neuron interactions, Cell5D works with any cell type — macrophages, immune cells, neurons, or any motile cells that move or change morphology over time. Handles both 1-color and 2-color channel imaging. Remarkably, it can resolve sub-cellular features of neurons and microglia even when imaged at ~0.5 µm lateral resolution and 0.1 Hz volume rate, making it ideal for fast live imaging.
Built because analyzing small regions with a few cells (microglia) do not tell the real story. Cell5D performs advanced 4D segmentation and 5D rendering of your raw TIFF data from confocal or multiphoton microscopy. Features include automated cell segmentation, tracking across 3D volumes over time, and morphology quantification. The interactive GUI lets you classify morphology types and temporal dynamics with single clicks, train AI models for automated analysis, and fine-tune detection in real-time.
Cell5D turns raw 3D time-lapse data from two-photon live imaging into publication-ready figures, statistics, and morphology metrics. Watch tutorials and examples on our YouTube channel.
